Citadel Management Company is a regional privately held company located in Roseville, California, specializing in the management of commercial real estate. Citadel currently manages about 2,000,000 square feet of office, retail, and flex/industrial projects located in the greater Sacramento area.

Citadel Management Company has been built on a history of hard work, integrity, team work, and dedication. By incorporating these values, Citadel has been able to grow from a property management firm overseeing a handful of local properties to a portfolio in excess of 2,000,000 square feet.

The company had its origin in 1998 as Mr. Doug Sutherland, who was very heavily involved in the real estate industry, began developing real estate through the use of limited partnerships, and also focused on managing the properties that he jointly developed within Placer and Sacramento County.

Citadel has been successful in a wide variety of real estate projects- from new construction, to purchasing existing properties and improving their overall tenancy, aesthetics, and ownership income. Today, some of those initial projects remain a part of the Citadel portfolio, including multiple grocery anchored shopping centers, power centers, and office and industrial space with national tenants.
